Alex, our head physiotherapist, has more than 10 years experience in the private clincial industry. He qualified in 2006 and later completed a Masters in Sports Medicine with the Complutense University of Madrid. He moved to Ireland in 2012 and has worked in a number of practices, specialising in rehabilitation.
Alex has also worked as a sports physiotherapist for Cobh Ramblers FC and Cork City FC. He has a passion for sports and has ample experience treating and managing sports injuries.
Li is a chartered physiotherapist who qualified from the University of Limerick in 2013. She returned to UL in 2015 to comlete a Masters of Sports and Exercise Medicine to expand her expertise. Before qualifying, Li worked as a personal trainer in Galway so has vast experience working in the field of sports and leisure.

Owen is our newest addition to the Max Rehab team, joining us in 2022. He qualified as a chartered physiotherapist in 2018 and worked for 2 years in St. James' Hospital, Dublin. He moved to a private practice in 2020 and then relocated to Cork last year.
Owen is an advocate of patient-centred care and strives to develop a strong relationship with his clients. He is keen to return to University in the coming years to advance his practice and undertake more training.
